Location: Austin, Texas (On-Site)

Department: Sales

Reports to: Head of Marketplace Sales

Base Draw: $50,000 per year

Commission: 20- 25% on sales generated plus additional target bonuses

Position Overview:

As an Associate Account Executive at Cloud Store, you will play a key role in driving our growth by managing inbound leads, proactively reaching out to potential customers, and guiding them through the sales process from first contact to close. You’ll be responsible for understanding customer needs, offering tailored equipment solutions, and fostering strong relationships to ensure long-term satisfaction and repeat business. With a focus on both sales and customer service, you will collaborate closely with our Finance and Sales Operations teams to deliver a seamless experience for every client.

This role requires flexibility, as we expect a 50-hour workweek, including availability during evenings and weekends to best serve our customers. Your dedication and ability to adapt to client needs will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound leads, converting them into customers from first contact to close.
  • Proactively identify and reach out to potential customers via outbound calls, emails, and texts, creating qualified sales opportunities.
  • Help buyers select the right equipment based on their budget and needs.
  • Maintain clear communication with buyers through emails, calls, and texts.
  • Set pricing, negotiate terms with customers, and make key decisions related to equipment transactions (e.g., selecting machines, recommending financing options, and negotiating terms with equipment dealers).
  • Nurture your customer base to foster a steady flow of repeat business.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the entire sales process.
  • Collaborate closely with partners in Finance and Sales Operations to ensure a smooth transaction process.

Qualifications:

  • Self-starter, intrinsically motivated to succeed.

  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) to effectively navigate client interactions and manage emotions.
  • Curious about the operational side of the business to ensure a smooth setup and customer experience.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a similar client-facing role is preferred.
