Job Description

Open enrollment is just around the corner and we are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Benefits Administrator! You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, leave management, wellness initiatives, and other related offerings. The ideal candidate is organized, empathetic, and well-versed in benefits compliance and employee support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), FSA/HSA, and leave of absence policies
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing clear and timely information
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment processes, including communication, enrollment systems, and vendor liaison
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable benefits laws and regulations (COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, ACA, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee benefits records in HRIS and payroll systems
  • Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate benefits deductions and resolve discrepancies
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding process related to benefits elections, terminations, and COBRA notifications
  • Partner with brokers and vendors to review and manage benefit offerings, resolve issues, and monitor service levels
  • Assist in developing and communicating employee wellness and engagement programs
  • Generate reports and analyze benefits data to identify trends, support audits, and assist in strategic planning
  • Support internal HR projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of experience in benefits administration or HR generalist role with strong benefits focus
  • Solid understanding of U.S. benefits regulations and compliance
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paycom, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive employee information
  • Benefits certification (e.g., CEBS, CBP) is a plus but not required
