Bilingual Litigation Legal Assistant - Plaintiff Employment Law
Location: Oakland, CA | Pay: $58,000-$80,000/year
Hybrid Schedule Available After Training

Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a respected plaintiff-side law firm to recruit an experienced Bilingual Litigation Legal Assistant for their Oakland office. This is a direct hire opportunity offering strong benefits, meaningful work, and a supportive, team-oriented culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate during Spanish-speaking client meetings, deposition prep, mediations, and trial preparations

  • Independently draft legal documents including complaints, discovery, motions, and mediation briefs

  • File and serve legal documents in California state and federal courts (appellate court experience a plus)

  • Organize and maintain electronic case files and manage routine litigation tasks

  • Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and court personnel

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written)

  • 3+ years of experience in California civil litigation as a legal assistant or paralegal

  • Skilled in drafting litigation documents independently

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro

  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills

  • Must successfully complete a legal knowledge assessment

Schedule & Compensation:

  • In-office to start , transitioning to hybrid (2 days in-office) after training

  • Salary: $58,000-$80,000/year , depending on experience
