Job Description

We’re seeking a Buyer to support goods and services negotiations and purchases across our client’s sites in Idaho and California. You’ll be an essential part of the procurement team, managing purchase orders, vendor relationships, and sourcing activities.

Salary $30 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contracts with vendors for goods and services.
• Manage the full PO process: placement, tracking, expediting, and amendments.
• Coordinate sourcing and orders with internal departments to ensure supply needs are met.
• Collaborate with suppliers, finance, requestors, and other departments to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain and ensure compliance with supply contracts and preferred vendor agreements.
• Assist internal stakeholders with defining requirements, identifying suppliers, and evaluating vendor financial health.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with supply chain concepts such as e-business and strategic sourcing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Education:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field a plus
