Entry Level Estimator – Seal Masters of Hawai‘i
Location: Oahu, HI
Status: Full-Time, On-Site (ALL APPLICANTS MUST RESIDE ON OAHU)
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Seal Masters of Hawai‘i is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Estimator to support our sales and preconstruction team on exterior building restoration projects across the state.
This role is designed for someone eager to grow within the industry. You’ll work under the guidance of our Senior Estimator to develop takeoffs, assist in bid preparation, and gain firsthand experience on projects involving concrete repair, waterproofing, painting, and more. We specialize in restoring and protecting mid- and high-rise buildings across the state, with services including concrete repair, waterproofing, painting, sealant replacement, railing replacement, window and door replacement, and more . The Role
As an Entry-Level Estimator, you’ll work closely with the Estimation Team to support timely, accurate, and competitive bid preparation. You will:
· Assist in preparing detailed time, cost, and labor estimates for construction projects
· Attend job walks, review plans, and help develop clear scopes of work
· Analyze blueprints, specifications, subcontractor pricing, labor, and material costs
· Collaborate with operations and business development for smooth project transitions
· Maintain organized bid logs, pipeline reports, and CRM records
· Help identify ways to improve and streamline estimating processes
Performance Metrics
· Accurate & Competitive Bids: Deliver detailed estimates that reflect scope, strategy, and profitability
· Proposal Turnaround & Responsiveness: Submit high-quality bid packages on time and aligned with sales targets
· Scope Development & Clarification: Collaborate to define scope and resolve ambiguities early
· Pipeline & CRM Management: Ensure visibility and accountability across preconstruction functions
Qualifications
· Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and project documents
· Strong attention to detail with solid analytical and organizational skills
· Effective written and verbal communication
· Eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Experience with estimating software or BuilderTrend a plus, but not required
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
· Must reside on O‘ahu and be available for in-person job walks and meetings
