The Opportunity:

As part of our exclusive Tech One Program (TOP) in partnership with Vestas Americas, we are seeking Wind Energy Training Instructors who are enthusiastic about safety and education. Here’s what you will do:

Responsibilities :

• Educate : Conduct engaging classroom and hands-on lab training using innovative teaching methods.
• Inspire : Create a solid foundation in areas like Working-at-Heights, Electrical Safety, Basic Mechanical Skills, and more.
• Innovate : Design and utilize state-of-the-art training aids, simulators, and mock-ups.
• Supervise : Oversee assigned employees, supporting certification initiatives, and maintaining a professional training environment.
• Collaborate : Work with fellow instructors, ensuring compliance with GWO qualifications and company policies.

Qualifications :

• Readiness to relocate to Portland, Oregon
• Experience in specialized training topics
• Technical/University Education degree OR 2+ years of wind industry experience
• GWO and/or Wind Energy Instructor credentials

Physical Requirements:

• Comfort with heights up to 300+ feet
• Compliance with specific weight requirements (130 to 260 lbs. max)
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks and weights up to 50 lbs.
• Successful completion of climb tests and tower rescue training
