The Role

We’re seeking an exceptionally talented Senior 3D Jewelry Modeler to join our New Jersey-based team. This is a full-time, in-person role reporting to the Head of Operations and working closely with our Chief Creative Officer (CCO), Product, Creative, and Manufacturing teams.

You’ll be responsible for translating jewelry concepts, rough hand sketches and creative direction into detailed, production-ready 3D models using the latest technologies in 3D modeling and printing, as well as your own creative ingenuity. Your work will be the bridge between visionary design and high-precision manufacturing in pure gold and platinum.

While exceptional artistic talent in 3D modeling is our top priority, a strong technical background in industrial, product, or jewelry design is essential to ensure designs are fully manufacturable. This role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial bent, that understands what it means to work within a start-up, e-commerce, retail manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Model and render new and existing jewelry concepts to the exacting artistic and technical standards of the CCO and brand.

  • Ensure all models are production-ready and meet the functional and structural requirements for manufacturing in 24K gold and pure platinum.

  • Manage the full 3D printing workflow—from file prep to printer operation, maintenance, and cleaning.

  • Contribute ideas and design expertise to the conceptualization, development and production of the jewelry designs.

  • Maintain an organized 3D model library; support silicone mold-making and technical documentation as needed.

  • Collaborate with Product team to integrate 3D models into customer experience and business operations (e.g., online visualization tools).

  • Leverage AI-assisted design tools to streamline modeling workflows and enhance creative exploration. Stay current on merging AI tools relevant to 3D modeling and CAD workflows.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying and eliminating bottlenecks across the production process using data analytics

  • Work creatively within defined budgets to optimize tooling, materials, and modeling workflows.

  • Act as a cross-functional partner across Creative, Product, and Operations to help scale the business.

  • Contribute proactively to the continuous growth and long-term success of Menē.

What Success Looks Like

  • You consistently deliver sculptural, organic 3D models that closely reflect the CCO’s creative vision.

  • All models are manufacture-ready with minimal iteration or revision.

  • You contribute design solutions and process improvements that drive both efficiency and innovation.

  • Your technical expertise and ownership mindset help evolve the modeling function as a strategic advantage for the business.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in 3D modeling, ideally in fine jewelry, industrial, or product design.

  • Advanced proficiency in Rhino, ZBrush, Gemvision Matrix, Blender, Keyshot, and other CAD/modeling tools.

  • Experience with 3D printing: file prep, slicing, printer operation, model cleaning, and workflow optimization.

  • Strong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and other peripheral creative tools.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for sculptural detail, proportion, and texture.

  • Deep understanding of jewelry mechanics and tolerances—particularly for pure gold and platinum.

  • Highly organized with excellent time management and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable working cross-functionally in a collaborative team.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership, continuous learning, and commitment to excellence.

Preferred Requirements

  • Degree in jewelry, industrial, or product design.

  • Experience using parametric modeling, finite element analysis, or related technical CAD tools.

  • Prior experience in start-up, DTC, or e-commerce environments.

Join an innovative force in luxury jewelry and help bring visionary designs to life. We're looking for an highly creative 3D modeler with the technical precision to transform bold ideas into pure gold and platinum creations—and the entrepreneurial drive to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, evolving environment. If that sounds like you, we’d love to connect.
