We are seeking a Senior Commercial Real Estate Accountant to join our growing team in Miami. This is a key position within the accounting and finance department, focused on supporting the financial oversight of a diverse and active real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing all accounting functions while collaborating across departments. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of accounting experience, with commercial real estate exposure strongly preferred.
• Advanced understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with property-level accounting and multi-entity structures.
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with accounting platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Support core accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and banking activity tracking.
• Prepare and analyze internal financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning processes.
• Maintain accurate property-level accounting records across multiple entities and asset types.
• Assist with the annual audit process, including gathering documentation and responding to auditor requests.
• Help ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
• Participate in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with acquisitions, transactions, and property management teams.
