Job Description

QSE7, a Pennsylvania-based consulting company, is seeking to hire a high-aptitude individual to provide project management services to our Life Sciences clients. This role will establish and execute processes for managing ways of working, decision rights, governance, communication and change management. Typical project management responsibilities include scope definition and control, stakeholder alignment, project planning, resource and risk management, project leadership, team development, project organization, cross-function communication and metrics reporting.

Detailed Job Responsibilities

As a senior project manager at QSE7, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans that include critical milestones, key interdependencies, financial commitments, and resource constraints
  • Delivering business results by driving project plans to successful completion
  • Monitoring project status and execution; maintaining project dashboards and providing timely updates to senior leadership
  • Coordinating project status meetings, developing agendas, facilitating discussions, documenting meeting minutes, and publishing performance metrics
  • Establishing and implementing a communication strategy that ensures transparent, timely, and effective verbal and written communications with team members, project stakeholders, and senior management
  • Proactively identifying and escalating risks to key project stakeholders, while defining and executing effective mitigation and contingency strategies
  • Leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment, ensuring alignment on decision strategies and governance oversight
  • Identifying, recommending, and executing effective project strategies, including planning, facilitation, coordination, record-keeping and monitoring
  • Estimating project costs and maintaining monthly project financials
  • Influencing others beyond your own scope and level; leading communications with all stakeholder levels to enable informed decision-making
  • Driving team accountability to ensure timely execution of work and high-quality deliverables
  • Simplifying complex concepts when presenting opportunities and plans to the team and organization
  • Leading teams through options analysis and driving recommendations
  • Leading “lessons learned” and “best practices” sessions to foster continuous improvement

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. degree
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant business experience with at least three (3) years of increasing responsibility in the over-the-counter (OTC), consumer products, and/or pharmaceutical industries
  • Thorough understanding of FDA regulations, guidelines, and submission requirements
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Proven record of leading teams and delivering results
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Experience with project planning software, such as MS Project and SmartSheets
  • Demonstrated enterprise-wide knowledge and experience leading/motivating cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills across various organizational levels
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
  • PMP, Process Excellence or Six Sigma certification

Travel Requirements

Job responsibilities will primarily be executed from a home office. Infrequent travel to client facilities may occasionally be required.
