Job Description

Job Title: Web Developer

Client : Award-winning Health Agency

Salary range : 95K-125K

Technical Skills:

  • Programming Languages: Mid to expert level proficiency in HTML/ HTML 5, CSS, and JavaScript (React experience a plus), AEM a plus
  • Experience in advertisement media

- Building websites

- Building emails (MJML experience a plus)

- Building banner adverts

  • Google Studio
  • Responsive Design: Understanding of responsive web design principles to ensure websites work well on various devices.
  • Version Control Systems: Knowledge of version control tools such as Git to manage changes to the project codebase.
  • SEO: Understanding of basic SEO principles to ensure that web pages are optimized for search engines can be an added advantage.
  • Understanding of Web Standards and Accessibility : Awareness of web standards set by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and principles of web accessibility to make sites usable for all people.
  • Asset Development: Create advanced HTML emailers incorporating images, data graphs, and animated ads or banners.
  • Testing: Conduct thorough testing of ads and emailers to ensure consistent display across various devices, browsers, and ad networks. Also, test email compatibility with platforms such as Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and MailChimp.
  • Design Tools: Utilize design tools like Creatopy or Figma Bannerify to create HTML5 banners efficiently, without the need for coding.
  • Creative/Design background
  • Shows clear understanding of design elements and their implementation
  • Web design experience, ideally not looking for a software engineer

Leadership and Professional Qualities:

  • Project Management: Skills in managing multiple projects simultaneously, often with tight deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems that arise during website development and deployment.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure quality and consistency in all code elements.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and potentially clients. This includes the ability to describe technical issues in simple terms.
