Job Description

An established law firm is searching for a Legal Assistant to join their team! This individual will be responsible for overseeing the front desk operations and assisting with overflow legal work. We are seeking an individual with a welcoming personality and strong attention to detail. The company is looking for somebody to start quickly, so apply today!

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests and clients with professionalism and courtesy
  • Manage incoming mail and package deliveries, ensuring timely distribution
  • Coordinate the scheduling and availability of conference rooms
  • Prepare legal documents from written notes or dictation, including proofreading and formatting for attorney approval
  • Assist with entering time entries into the firm's billing and timekeeping software
  • Coordinate catering arrangements for meetings and firm events
  • Monitor office supplies and maintain inventory levels; reorder items as necessary to ensure stock is available

Requirements:

  • 2 or more years of experience working in a legal environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Suite applications
  • Self-motivated and strong organizational skills
